Emergency services were called to car crashes near Handcross and Broadbridge Heath on Boxing Day.
A car ended up on its roof after a crash on the B2114 around 4.45am, with four people being treated at the scene by paramedics.
Fire crews from Crawley made the scene safe and provided lighting for the ambulance crews.
Another accident, in Guildford Road, Broadbridge Heath, was reported soon after 9am.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service say one car was involved. A crew from Horsham went to the scene, but nobody was trapped in wreckage and the incident was left with police.
