Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision and subsequent assault yesterday (Sunday 28 October) on the A29 at Adversane cross Roads, say Sussex Police.
A black Ford KA and a Mercedes E Class saloon collided shortly before 4pm.
No injuries were caused as a result of the collision.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “An allegation has been made that the driver of the Ford KA was assaulted at the scene leaving him with minor injuries immediately after the collision.
“Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or assault. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1068 of 28/10 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
