Residents needing free advice and motivation on any healthy New Year’s resolutions can find support from Horsham District Wellbeing.

As well as offering advice by phone or email, advisors from Horsham District Wellbeing will continue the successful Wednesday drop-in sessions at The Octagon, Chart Way (outside Royal Sun Alliance main entrance), in Horsham town centre from Wednesday January 2.

The Wellbeing Hub offers advice on a range of issues, and people can pop in for a chat and a health MOT between 10am and 2pm, and ad hoc sessions are also run in outreach venues across the Horsham District.

One Wellbeing client, who wanted some healthy weight advice, said: “I feel my breathing is better and I am walking longer distances without losing my breath. My depression issues have almost gone – (I’m) feeling a bit more confident and have more energy.”

Another client in the Horsham district added: “This was the first time in my life I have received advice on diet and alcohol.

“The help and support given was needed to put me on the right track – the information received was gratefully needed.”

For further information on the hub, health MOTs or general health issues, call 01403 215111, email info@horshamdistrictwellbeing.org.uk or visit www.horshamdistrictwellbeing.org.uk.

Horsham District Wellbeing is a free, friendly and impartial service from Horsham District Council, the NHS and other partners.
