A Chelsea Flower Show gold medallist and garden design guru will open her second school in Cranleigh in January 2013.
Lucy Summers, an author and TV presenter, will open her doors for the launch of her new company ‘The House and Garden School’ at the Crane Room in the High Street’s Cranleigh Arts Centre.
She presented gardening programmes such as Homegrown on Anglia, and Britain’s Best Back Gardens for ITV.
At the House and Garden School they embrace the tradtional skills and pleasures of garden craft and home-making.
Starting in January 2013, Lucy’s team of tutors offer fresh and dynamic courses throughout the year on topics as varied as garden design, cake decoration, bee keeping, and aromatherapy.
They also offer some free classes for the less advantaged as part of their business ethos.
Classes are from £49, with gift vouchers from £10.
