An accident closed the A24 in Horsham this afternoon (Sunday October 28).
The road was closed northbound from the Hop Oast Park and Ride roundabout up to Farthings Hill.
This followed a single vehicle accident in which a car left the road.
The driver had to be cut out of the car and was airlifted to hospital.
