Horsham residents are being asked for their views about the existing Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) in the town.
The Horsham CPZ has been in operation throughout the town centre since 2003.
West Sussex County Council has begun a public consultation to review whether residents would like to see any changes made to the parking restrictions in their road.
A letter and questionnaire, along with a pre-paid envelope, will be delivered to every home and business located inside the CPZ from mid-October.
All responses and comments must be received by Friday November 30.
They will be reported to county councillors at a future meeting of the North Horsham County Local Committee.
Chairman of the North Horsham County Local Committee, Brad Watson OBE, said: “We want as much feedback from the public as possible to help us improve the effectiveness and efficiency of this residents’ parking scheme.
“This is merely the first stage in a potentially lengthy process.
“The County Council is keen to stress that no changes will be made to people’s roads without further consultation.”
