Plans to convert former poultry buildings to business units at Castle Farm Estate, The Hollow, Washington, have gone to appeal. Hargreaves Management Ltd are appealing against Horsham District Council’s failure to determine the outline planning application within the prescribed period.
The application had been discussed by the council but a decision was deferred for an on-site meeting to discuss concerns about traffic emerging on to the busy A24 dual carriageway. An appeal was lodged and representations have to be sent to the Planning Inspectorate at Bristol by August 24.
