HORSHAM PARK will host one of the 2,000 beacon lightings being held around the world in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Monday June 4 2012 will commemorate The Queen’s 60 year reign over the UK and as head of the Commonwealth and Horsham council have snapped up the opportunity to party.
A Diamond Jubilee Tea Party and Beacon lighting in Horsham town centre will be free to attend between 10am and 7pm with activities in three areas of the town celebrating a different 20 year period of HM’s reign.
Horsham town will be filled with period vehicles, music, dance, art, photography, tea and cake stalls, as well as a tea party. In the evening there will be the lighting of a Jubilee Beacon in Horsham Park to join up with a proposed nationwide chain of more than 2,000 beacons to mark this one-off special event.

Golding Lane, Mannings Heath on Sunday June 3 from 11.30 am to 5.00 pm.
Daux Way, Billingshurst on Monday June 4 from 1 pm to 10 pm.
High Street, Steyning Sunday June 3 from 9 am to 7.30 pm.
Barrington Road, Horsham Tuesday June 5 from 10 am to 10 pm.
Cape Copse, Rudgwick on Sunday June 3 from 12 pm to 4 pm.
Old London Road, Coldwaltham on Monday June 4 from 6 am onwards.
Mill Lane, partridge Green on Monday June 4 from 11 am to 5 pm.
