Police are investigating the theft of gold jewellery worth £2,500 by burglars who broke into a flat in Meadowside, Storrington.
Officers were alerted shortly after 10.45am on Saturday (November 8) by a neighbour who found a door had been damaged and glass broken during a forced entry.
Missing items include a necklace, bracelets and a wedding ring, all made from gold.
Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, or who may be offered items in suspicious circumstances, is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serlal 486 of 8/11.
