HORSHAM Football Club have today sacked manager Hugo Langton following a poor run of results.
Langton only took over as Hornets boss at the end of October last year when he replaced Justin Luchford, but failed to guide the side to a single league victory in 21 Ryman Premier matches.
Still the news comes as a shock, with Langton seemingly already building for next season with relegation a near certainty.
Confirming the news himself, Langton said: “I found out today that I’ve been sacked as Horsham FC boss. I’m gutted but that’s football and I suppose it’s a result business and I know the results weren’t good.”
There is speculation that former Worthing manager Simon Colbran, who this week quit as Redhill manager, has already been instated as manager.
