A car overturned and ended up in a ditch on the A24 at Kingsfold on Sunday (August 10).
Emergency services were called at around 4.45am.
Police closed the road while firefighters rescued the driver, a 25-year-old woman from Horsham, from the car using hydraulic rescue equipment.
The driver was assessed at the scene by paramedics and the scene was made safe.
Local resident Mike Lewis took the above photograph of the car involved.
He said: “This is the same location as almost a year ago, a lorry left the road with two cherry picker cranes on board, wiping out more than 60 trees and writing off two cars and a van.”
