The excitement around Horsham’s Big Nibble and Little Nibble events are building fast.
Sainsbury’s and Food Rocks are inviting children to create a Crazy Food Figure for The Little Nibble Children’s Food Festival, which will be held on Saturday, September 6.
The figure can be made out of food from the fridge and store cupboard - dried fruit, fresh vegetables, marshmallows, pasta, rice - whatever is at hand to make as wacky a figure as possible.
The craziest and most creative figure, as judged by MasterChef: The Professionals winner Steven Edwards, will be used as the logo for the Crazy Food Figure Zone at The Little Nibble, which will be held at Horsham Forum, off the town centre.
The Crazy Food Figure Zone features a wide range of foods provided by Sainsbury’s so children can create more fun figures on the day - with some special prizes.
The Big Nibble and Little Nibble are organised by Horsham District Council in conjunction with Horsham Markets, and are the launch events for the district wide Food and Drink Festival, which runs from September 6 to October 5.
To enter the Food Rocks contest simply send organisers a photo of your figure: info@foodrockssouth.co.uk or search for Food Rocks on Facebook or tweet your entry to @foodrockssouth
