Tanbridge House School will host a question time event with representatives from the business, religious and political communities tomorrow (Friday June 20).

After a debut success last year, the school’s Leadership Question Time will give local business leaders and students the opportunity to pose questions to an expert panel.

This year’s theme is the relationship between leadership and morality in the business world.

The panel consists of Francis Maude, Horsham MP and minister for the Cabinet Office; Gary Shipton, editor in chief of the West Sussex County Times and its sister titles; Judith Harding, programme director at BT Retail Innovate & Design; David Corcoran, head of student support and wellbeing at the University of Chichester and Mark Sowerby, bishop of Horsham.

Jules White, headteacher at Tanbridge, said: “We are delighted to be hosting this unique event for the second time, as we believe it provides an excellent opportunity for leaders of business and our community to gain insight into effective leadership and the role of morality within this.

“We also hope this event will, once again, inspire our students and develop their understanding of what it takes to succeed in the business world.”

After a networking lunch, year 10 and 11 students from Tanbridge House and nearby secondary schools will ask the panel their own questions in a bid to inspire potential leaders of the future.

The event is intended to give local business people a networking opportunity while students have the chance to get expert advice and insight from a panel of leaders in the business and community worlds.
