A TEN-YEAR-OLD from Fittleworth Village School beat hundreds of pupils to win the West Sussex Schools Christmas Card competition this year.
Amberley Lloyd’s winning design shows a snowy chimney pot with a speech bubble emerging from a surprised Father Christmas saying, “Oh,oh,oh I didn’t realise they lit the fire.”
She scooped a £100 for the school and won a £20 book voucher for herself.
The annual contest run by Class Cover, a specialist education recruitment agency based in Billingshurst, which has been supporting schools in West Sussex for the past eight years providing teachers of the highest standard to cover school absences.
