THE BISHOPRIC in Horsham was closed following a head-on collision between two cars late this afternoon (Wednesday).
Police shut the road from the traffic lights at Albion Way to the Rushams Road turn-off.
The accident happened near Lifestyle Ford with both vehicles severely damaged.
Paramedics, firefighters and police were at the scene dealing with the injured and clearing up spilled fuel.
There were large traffic queues in several roads as rush hour drivers faced diversions.
