Fire crews were called to a collision involving two cars in Merryfield Drive near Guildford Road in Horsham just after 2pm yesterday (September 15).
A woman was taken to hospital by ambulance after firefighters freed her using hydraulic rescue equipment.
The scene was made safe by West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
