Lotties Fayre, a new cafe on the Bishopric, opened on Tuesday (August 27).
The cafe, opposite Cromptons, enjoys good views of the stream and a central location.
It is run by Charlotte ‘Lottie’ Campbell, 25, of Horsham, who used to work at the site six years ago when it was the Little Black Olive.
She said: “I’ve always had a big interest in good quality food and giving great service to customers - it’s nice to please people and see how happy they are when leaving.”
She added: “My food is supplied from the surrounding area. The cakes come from Old Cartlodge in Surrey and the meat comes from New Street butchers in Horsham.
“I want to support all the local suppliers.”
Carol Harding, 57, of Horsham, in her second visit to the cafe on Thursday, said: “Lottie is a friendly person very willing to oblige to customer needs.
“We used to come here years ago, we heard she was back so came to see her because she’s a nice and friendly person.”
