A Horsham nurse at Holbrook Surgery completed 4,360 lengths of the Pavilions pool, 68 miles, yesterday (Aug 11).
Joyce Skeet, 64, originally from Ireland, swam the distance between Holyhead, UK and Dunlaoghaire, Ireland over three months, and raised around £1,000 for a trip to Cambodia.
Joyce and her husband Robert, a retired civil engineer, are raising funds for buying equipment for a local clinic in Cambodia and towards a car for its medical staff to travel to rural areas.
