PULBOROUGH Community Partnership is to launch a new action plan to support the village.
The plan will be launched at the Annual General Meeting tonight (Tuesday November 29).
It has been drawn up by the Partnership with Pulborough Parish Council, businesses and voluntary groups in the village.
The plan focuses on a number of key issues including health, the environment, transport, affordable housing needs, development and sports & leisure facilities.
A number of new initiatives will also be unveiled including a Pulborough business fair to support existing local enterprises and attract new business to the village.
People living and working in Pulborough were asked to highlight issues and concerns about life in the village and the information has been used to draw up a community-based strategy to address them.
Community partnership spokesman Richard Keatley said: “It’s hoped the community action plan will provide a powerful way for the village to influence its development and to secure investment and action from local authorities in the future.
“We believe we have produced a plan that has cross community support and will help create a better future for Pulborough.”
The AGM is open to all residents and businesses.
It will be held at 7.30pm in Pulborough Village Hall, Swan View.
