Police made four arrests minutes after a man was robbed in Horsham in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday July 24).
Officers were called to King’s Road after reports of a 21-year-old local man who had alledgedly been pushed to the ground and had his wallet stolen by two other men.
As a result of information from witnesses and the use of ANPR (Automatic Numberplate Recognition) cameras, police stopped a car in Pease Pottage a short time later.
Three boys from Crawley aged 16, 17 and 17, and a man aged 20 from Portsmouth have been arrested.
The Portsmouth man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
They are currently in custody for interview and further enquiries.
The victim was treated at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill for a slight head injury.
The wallet has not yet been recovered.
