A road through a South Downs village was closed this afternoon (Saturday April 27) following an accident.
The B2139 in Houghton, near Amberley, was shut in both directions near the South Lane junction close to the George and Dragon pub.
Drivers had to find an alternative route until the area was cleared just after 4pm.
