A driver had to be cut out of his car yesterday (Wednesday April 17) following an accident at Rudgwick.
Emergency services were called to the A29 at the village just after 9.30am.
A single car was involved and the male driver was given first aid before hydraulic rescue equipment was used to get him out of the vehicle.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance and the incident left with police.
